About the Author
Michael Brein is an accomplished Hawaii-based travel writer, adventurer and member of three world travel adventure clubs. Also known as The Travel Psychologist, Michael Brein publishes the world's first and only travel guide series to sightseeing by public transportation. He is also working on a book series on the psychology of travel as revealed through the best travel tales of nearly 1,500 world travelers and adventurers. The Paris guide is just one of multiple similar additional products planned for publication within the next few years. Michael Brein earned his Ph.D. in psychology as well an MBA at the University of Hawaii.

The best way to learn to use the Paris Metro

This publication is an absolute essential for the occassional traveler to Paris. It is in large enough print you can acutally read it and it tells you a good bit of info about the area you exit from.
As a frequent traveler, I say - buy it. It is worth every cent. Doug Toth

Makes navigating around Paris simple.
Face it Parisian cabs are expensive,sometimes scary and given Paris traffic not very fast.The Metro is relatively fast and convenient. They say that any place in Paris is within 500 m. of a Metro station.
The Metro can seem mysterious to the visitor but not with Michael Brein's guide. It will tell you which line to take to 50+ tourist destinations, where to get off and even where to walk from the station to your objective.
It could use updating but I can not imagine going to Paris without it.

Fantastic to have on hand!

I've been to Paris many times, but for some reason, have always felt intimidated by the Paris Metro. I was dyslexic as a child, and still have vestiges of it when it comes to what direction I'm supposed to be heading. This is a very well thought-out map - even I can manage with it. It has opened up even more of Paris to me - because it's so simple to use. Consider it a good investment - particularly for first-time visitors to glorious Paris.
