Good book for youth and first time trip leaders

This book is made for those with little experience in leading missions trips. It highlights all the important steps you need to walk through prior to, during and after a missions trip. It is not as detailed as I'd prefer for my use but for anyone leading for a first time, I'd recommend it.

Thriller With More

In Don't Be Afraid, the protagonist has a problem. She's trying to break into the real estate business as an agent, but dead bodies keep turning up in her homes and she's the prime murder suspect. Rebecca Drake takes this thrilling plot and goes two steps further. She adds fully drawn characteristics and singing prose -- a combination not often seen in debut fiction. Kudos to Drake for a job well done.

This book will keep you up at night. In this notable debut, Rebecca Drake has made it clear she understands the genre and can write a book worthy of a reader's time and attention. "Don't be afraid" to dig into this book and spend time with a sympathetic heroine and a villain that will forever live in your nightmares.

Amazing first novel...can't wait for her next

This is a thriller that hangs together from the beginning to the end. No loose ends at the end, and unlike many mysteries and thrillers, the ending doesn't disappoint.

Rebecca Drake writes with a style that is complex and mature, yet easy to read. She developes the characters well, and provides some surprises along the way. She manages to touch some of today's hot topics naturally in the development of the plot, but is not preachy or contrived. A thoroughly enjoyable read!

Missing Time, by Bud Hopkins is not only mind boggling, and intelligently written, but it also speaks to both minds, the skeptic, and the believer. Bud Hopkins backs up his research and his theories and is clearly passionate about his work. I myself being a believer find this a must read,

After reading this I felt like a first year med student that diagnoses themselves with every disease. Do I have any missing time in my life? Of course not, THANK GOD! Whew!
For the people in Budd's book, I can't imagine having to learn where that time really went. What they went through. And how they could move forward after discovering what happened.
I get scared on roller-coasters, but I can decide NOT to go on them. The people in Budd's book had no say. There is no free will. And nobody can help them. I get caught up with these facts. Great reading!

Important Book.

In Missing Time, Budd Hopkins does something more writers on the subject of UFOs should do: he considers evidence rather than just rant about aliens and flying saucers. He investigates a phenomenon common to a number of people, why they seem to black out for hours at a time and later find themselves safe and sound with no recollection of how they got there or what they'd been doing. These are average people with no other apparent similarities.
When Budd employs hypnosis to enhance memory recall, shocking details and incredible similarities of the events that occur during these "missing time" episodes is revealed. Believe it or not; it's up to you. But the subject is fascinating, the evidence compelling, and Budd Hopkins does a fine job of reporting the mystery.
